Fashion and art have always been interrelated, complementing and inspiring each other.

Designers very often when presenting their collections present and use the globally

recognized motifs of eminent artists.

In the post „Fashion Inspired by Mondrian’s Painting”  I presented my design of a dress

inspired by the works of an outstanding painter, creator of neoplasticism – Piet Mondrian.

„Composition with Red, Blue and Yellow” from 1930 – is one of the artist’s most- played work.

His style is the finalization of creative thoughts and the search for art close to the absolute.

Such art that is pure and real. The Dutch artist of geometric abstraction,

in his search he focused on the use of vertical and horizontal lines in his paintings.

The lines intersected and divided the planes into squares and rectangles.

Piet Mondrian used three basic colors – yellow, blue, red and three non-colors – black, white and grey.

Neoplastic compositions brought phenomenal fame to Piet Mondrian.

The artist worked and analyzed them for many years, constantly improving his concept.

It’s worth notice that the images on Mondrian’s don’t lose their relevance and still inspire architects and designers.

Red, blue and yellow compositions of squares and rectangles, which are intersected by black lines at a right angle,

can be found in the form of designed interiors, furniture, decorates accessories and of all kinds decorations.

Mondrian inspired fashion. As a geometry lover, I can be inspired by Mondrian’s art without end, while still emphasizing

the advantages of the female body. I especially love combining geometry with smooth, full-color materials.

My innovative approach to the original design resulted in another fashion proposal.

My new fruit is a short dress with long sleeves, under the neck with yellow, blue and red rectangles,

separeted by intersecting black lines, which are trims. Neoplastic style colors and a combination

of an additional element – decorative zippers, has become a wonderful complement to grey jersey.

In this way, my new stylization has got her own life, and I feel a new strength that only gives me a positive attitiude.

It’s fanstastic and attractive.

„I would like to say to people, open your eyes and find beauty where you normally don’t expect it” – Jean Paul Gaultier

It’s worth asking for suggestion about clothing, thanks to that we are able to STAND OUT from the crowd!
